Commission authorises Corus and Wupperman to take over joint control of new Dutch steel plant

Brussels, 03/10/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has authorised the companies Corus Group plc (manufacture and distribution of steel products) and Wuppermann GmbH (processing of steel products) to take over joint control of Wuppermann Staal Nederland BV (WSN). The sole business of WSN is the construction, and subsequent operation and management of a production site in Moerdijk (Netherlands) for pickling, galvanising and slitting of hot-rolled wide strip steel.
