The French beverages and spirits company PERNOD RICARD (3.6 bn euro turnover in 1999) is in talks with Britain's CADBURY SCHWEPPES to sell it ORANGINA-PAMPRYL (FF 2.5 bn turnover in 1999) for some FF 5 bn. In addition, PERNOD RICARD has taken 100% control of its American subsidiary BOULEVARD DISTILLERS AND IMPORTERS which, among other things, produces "Wild Turkey" bourbon.
