ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) banks

DDB - DEN DANSKE BANK, largest bank in Denmark, announced the acquisition of its competitor REALDANMARK, which includes BG BANK and REALKREDIT DANEMARK, for DKK 26.1 billion. The new group will be one of the largest Scandinavian banks with a total shareholder equity of 58 billion, and a workforce of 20,000 people and 3 million clients.
