Vienna, 07/04/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Monitoring Centre for rascist and xenophobic phemonina was officially inaugurated on the 7 April in Vienna during a ceremony which heard speeches, in particular, by the President of the Commission Romano Prodi and the President of the European Parliament Nicole Fontaine, who denounced the return of the "deadly venom of racism and its rampant force, xenophobia."
