Joint Assembly calls for eradication of racism

Abuja, 21/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - In a declaration on the International Day Against Racism, the two co-chairs of the ACP/EU Joint Assembly denounced the odious nature of racism. They demand vigilance by all bodies to combat ideas and violence of a racist nature as well as all incitement to racial hate, and plead in favour of education directed towards tolerance and understanding.
