Costa (rapporteur for MEDA programme) fires off an answer to letter from President Prodi on discharge for 1998 budget

Bruxelles, 21/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - Forza Italia MEP Raffaele Costa, rapporteur for the discharge to be given to the Commission for implementation of the MEDA programme, within the framework of the budgetary discharge procedure for 1998, has reacted quickly to the letter Romano Prodi sent to European Parliament President Nicole Fontaine, in which the Commission President complains about unclear, repetitive and even illegal questions by Members of the EP (see EUROPE of 11 March, p. 14)....
