ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) energy

EDF - ELECTRICITE DE FRANCE has taken a further 9.23% stake in the Brazilian electricity distributor LIGHT in which it already had a 31.7% stake. This transaction represents an investment of 300 million euro. EDF thus becomes LIGHT's main shareholder, with 40.93% of the capital.
