Results of deliberations on European security and defence policy - Procedural decisions

Brussels, 21/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - At the conclusion of Monday's debate on European security and defence policy (ESDP), the General Affairs Council approved the following conclusions.

"The Council, with the participation of Ministers of Defence, had a comprehensive discussion on progress in the European Security and Defence Policy in the follow-up to the Helsinki European Council, addressing both the military and civilian tracks of ESDP.
