Conditional authorisation of creation of number one European satellite venture, Astrium, by Dasa and Matra Marconi Space

Brussels, 21/03/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission has given its conditional authorisation for creation of a joint venture in the satellite sector, Astrium, by the German firm DaimlerChrysler Aerospace (Dasa) and the Netherlands' Matra Marconi Space (MMS, controlled jointly by the French company Matra Hautes Technologies and Britain's Marconi Electronic Systems).
