ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) aircraft

The American group GE - GENERAL ELECTRIC is to create a joint venture with the Japanese groups ANA NIPPON AIRWAYS and IHI - ISHIKAWAJIMA-HARIMA HEAVY INDUSTRIES active in the repair of aircraft engine components in which GE will have a 70.2% stake, its two partners each holding 14.9%. This company will be called EG ENGINE SERVICES-JAPAN and begin its activities on 1 April with an initial capital of 3.3 bn yen. It should see a turnover of $30 to 35 million within one or two years.
