Commission authorises creation of joint company by Eastern Electricity and London Electricity

Brussels, 08/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - The European Commission authorised the creation of a joint company, equally owned by Eastern Electricity (subsidiary of the American TXU Company) and London Electricity (French EDF group). The new entity will provide utility network asset management services and operating services, mainly to the electricity distribution companies.
