BAE SYSTEMS has expressed an inerest in some of the activities of LOCKHEED MARTIN AEROSPACE AND ELECTRONIC SYSTEMS, a subsidiary of the American LOCKHEED MARTIN group, which combines electronics and aeronautics. According to the Sunday Times, BAE SYSTEMS could bid up to USD 2 billion for certain of its assets.
