NISSAN MOTOR CO is negotiating the sale of its aerospace division to the Japanese group ISHI-KAWAJIMA-HARIMA HEAVY INDUSTRIES, specialised in the production of aircraft engines. The latter is said to have proposed the sum of 40 billion yen for this division which notched up a turnover of 51.1 billion yens during the financial year ending March 1999.
