The Anglo-Norwegian group AXIS SHIELD PLC has bought NYCOMED DIAGNOSTICS (Anglo-Norwegian group NYCOMED PHARMA), specialised in medical diagnostic products in Northern Europe, for NEK 288 million. NYCOMED DIAGNOSTICS had sales of EUR 26.8 million in 1999 with a workforce of 145.
