Contents and reasons of anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties introduced by European Commission on steel products from South Africa, India, Taiwan, Bulgaria and FRY

Brussels, 08/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - To reach the decisions announced in yesterday's EUROPE, p.9, introducing anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties for certain imports of steel products. The European Commission carried out an in-depth investigation into both: the conditions on the imports in question; the existence of public dumping and subsidising practices in exporter countries; a prejudice for European industry; the general interests of the EU.
