Commission concludes that purchase by BellSouth (Untied States) of VR Telecommunications' share in E-Plus (Germany) does not come under Community law

Brussels, 01/02/2000 (Agence Europe) - The Commission has concluded that the purchase by the telecommunications operator BellSouth of a share held by VR Telecommunications in the mobile phone company E-Plus does not come under EU legislation on concentrations. It notes hat E-Plus is the only one, among the companies concerned, to have a turnover in the Community that reaches the thresholds set by the regulation.
