ECONOMIC INTERPENETRATION / (eu) heavy goods vehicles

The German group MAN has bought up the British lorry manufacturer ERF (turnover EUR 332.34 million for 1998-99 with 900 employed and 3,000 lorries sold) to Canadian WESTERN STAR TRUCK HOLDINGS for the sum of EUR 102.26 million, plus taking on of debt estimated at EUR 56.24 million.
