American BAXTER (annual turnover $6.5 billion) is to take over the French company BIODOME (packaging of medicinal products; turnover before taxes EUR 7.7 million during the first nine months of the 1999 financial year) with the acquisition of 68% of its capital. The BAXTER offer gives the company a value of EUR 24.8 million.
