For Olivér Várhelyi, “Biotechnology is foundational for the future of our healthcare system”

Presenting a number of initiatives in the field of health on Tuesday 16 December, Olivér Várhelyi, the European Commissioner for Health, said that “central to this package is biotechnology”, because it is “foundational for the future of our healthcare system and medicine” (see EUROPE B13773A7).
