EU Council adopts text negotiated with European Parliament on European Defence Industry Programme

08/12/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 8 December, the EU Council adopted the Interinstitutional Agreement on the European Defence Industry Programme (EDIP) (see EUROPE B13766A25). The aim of the programme, which has a budget of €1.5 billion for 2025-2027, including €300 million for the Ukraine Support Instrument, is to improve the competitiveness of the European Defence Technology Industrial Base and to guarantee the availability and timely supply of defence products throughout...
