European Parliament adopts agreement with EU Council on new mandate of European Maritime Safety Agency

13/11/2025 (Agence Europe) – The European Parliament approved the agreement with the EU Council on amending the mandate of the European Maritime Safety Agency (EMSA) at its plenary session, on Thursday 13 November (see EUROPE B13746A33). This agreement, reached in May (see EUROPE B13644A11), amends the regulation to strengthen EMSA’s role.
