EU provisionally finds China was dumping adipic acid

13/11/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday, 13 November, the European Commission imposed a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of adipic acid (a powder used in manufacturing nylon) from China. An investigation had been opened in March 2025 following a complaint lodged by German manufacturer Lanxess Deutschland GmbH and Italian manufacturer Radici Chimica SpA. The rate set for the provisional duty ranges from 28.6% to 46.8%.
