While the EU27 interior ministers and their representatives will be invited to Luxembourg on 14 October to make progress on the regulation on the return of illegal immigrants to the EU, focusing in particular on the mutual recognition of decisions taken at national level, the German Minister of the Interior, Alexander Dobrindt, acknowledged at a meeting in Munich on Saturday 4 October that there were “legal obstacles” to the creation of ‘return hubs’ to receive irregular migrants...
