Ban on ‘veggie burgers’ in Céline Imart’s report is a smokescreen, according to Greens/EFA Group in European Parliament

The ban on the ‘veggie burger’ in the draft report by Céline Imart (EPP, French) on the common market organisation (CMO), to be voted on Wednesday 8 October at the plenary session of the European Parliament, is a “smokescreen” said Anna Strolenberg MEP (Greens/EFA, Dutch) on Monday 6 October.

“I see this as a false promise to farmers and a misunderstanding of consumer expectations”, she told some journalists.
