Revision of air passenger rights - European Commission supports political agreement, despite certain shortcomings

The European Commission can broadly support the political agreement reached in the EU Council on the revision of air passenger rights, although the agreement does not meet all the essential objectives of the Commission’s proposal, the Commission announced in its communication to the European Parliament on Tuesday 30 September.
