Baltic fisheries legislation must be fully enforced, says Costas Kadis

The third ‘Our Baltic’ conference, organised by the European Commission on Tuesday 30 September, highlighted the need to fully implement the legislation on the Common Fisheries Policy (CFP) and the multiannual management plan for Baltic stocks.

However, despite repeated requests from a number of stakeholders, the Commission has not opened any avenues for a possible revision of this management plan.
