23/09/2025 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 23 September, the European Commission announced the launch of the ‘One Health Antimicrobial Resistance’ (OHAMR) partnership, an international initiative bringing together 53 organisations from 30 countries to combat the health problem of antimicrobial resistance. Coordinated by the Swedish Research Council, this initiative focuses on the transversal ‘One Health’approach by strengthening research capacities, supporting policy translation and improving the use of data. It will have a budget of €253 million over ten years, co-financed to the tune of €75 million by the Horizon Europe research framework programme.
