Group of NGOs and trade unions march from Maastricht to Brussels to protest against EU simplification

A group of NGOs, trade unions and politicians set off on foot from Maastricht on Sunday, to reach Brussels on Tuesday 23 September. They marched in protest against what they see as EU deregulation of several major pieces of legislation. In particular, they are aiming to simplify the CSDDD and CSRD directives on due diligence and corporate sustainability.
