PAN Europe submits formal request for internal review of authorisation of 28 PFASs under European pesticides legislation

24/07/25 (Agence Europe) – Following several requests to ban PFAS chemicals, PAN Europe said on Thursday 24 July that it had submitted a formal request for an internal review of 28 PFAS active substances approved under European pesticides legislation. This request obliges the European Commission to respond and allows the NGO to take the case to the EU Court of Justice if no action is taken.
