European Commission criticises numerous EU countries for failing to transpose legislation

On Thursday, 24 July, the European Commission initiated infringement proceedings against several Member States for failing to transpose legislation.

The following acts are concerned: Directive 2025/290 updating the list of defence equipment (country concerned: Denmark; transposition deadline: 31 May 2025); Directive 2023/2413 aiming to accelerate the deployment of renewable energies (all EU countries except Denmark; transposition deadline: 21 May 2025); Directive 2024/1226...
