European Parliament approves provisional agreement on extension of gas storage regulation

08/07/25 (Agence Europe) – At a plenary session in Strasbourg, on Tuesday 8 July, MEPs approved by a large majority (542 votes in favour, 109 against and 30 abstentions) the provisional agreement reached between the EU Council and the European Parliament on the extension until the end of 2027 and revision of the regulation on gas storage (see EUROPE B13667A13). In doing so, they are following on the heels of Member States, which validated the agreement at the end of June at EU ambassador...
