European Parliament adopts own-initiative report on security of supply

08/07/25 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 8 July, MEPs adopted Beata Szydło’s (ECR, Polish) own-initiative report on the security of energy supply (see EUROPE B13667A14) by 459 votes to 170 with 30 abstentions. Just before the vote, the rapporteur emphasised the need to “speak with one voice” when it comes to security of energy supply.
