EU strongly condemns Houthi attack on bulk carrier

08/07/25 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 7 July, the European Union strongly condemned the attack carried out the previous day by the Houthis against the bulk carrier MV Magic Seas in the Red Sea. “This attack has endangered the lives of the crew, who have had to be evacuated, and has put the region at risk of a major ecological disaster, with the ship currently adrift and in danger of sinking”, stressed the spokesperson for the European External Action Service in a statement.
