MEPs question whether EU Member States are really prepared to apply European Media Freedom Act

The European Commissioner for Financial Services, Maria Luís Albuquerque, discussed the state of implementation of the European Media Freedom Act (EMFA) during a debate at the plenary session of the European Parliament on Tuesday 8 July.

"The Commission is working closely with the Member States to ensure that the implementation of EMFA is on track before the deadline of 8 August”, said the European Commissioner.
