19/05/2025 (Agence Europe) – More than 6.1 million workers have been trained under the Pact for Skills, said the Commission in a press release on Monday 19 May. “The Pact annual survey 2024 reveals that more than 6.1 million people have benefited from training under the Pact for Skills. More than 3,200 organisations that invest in skills development have now signed up to the Pact, including businesses, social partners, education and training providers, local authorities and employment services”. The assessment for 2023 was also positive (see EUROPE 13376/26). The Pact has also accelerated support for workers and businesses throughout the economy. In 2024, the members of 20 large-scale partnerships trained an average of 33% of their workforce. (SP)
