New regulation on benchmarks published in Official Journal of European Union

19/05/2025 (Agence Europe) – The new regulation on benchmarks aimed at protecting financial stability while reducing the administrative and regulatory burden was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on Monday 19 May. On 6 May, MEPs approved the Interinstitutional Agreement reached between co-legislators in December 2024(see EUROPE B13634A18) without a vote at the European Parliament’s plenary session. The regulation will come into force in twenty days’ time and...
