European Parliament ready to start negotiations with EU Council on extension of gas storage regulation

On Thursday 8 May, the European Parliament adopted by 425 votes to 106, with 43 against, its position on extending the regulation on gas storage by two years – until 31 December 2027 – by incorporating flexibilities (see EUROPE B13627A2).
