Regulation on return of irregular migrants in EU – names of various European Parliament rapporteurs starting to emerge

29/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – The names of the rapporteurs on the ‘Returns’ regulation proposed by the Commission on 11 March (see EUROPE B13597A17) are starting to emerge. While Malik Azmani (Renew Europe, Dutch) has been appointed lead rapporteur, most groups within Parliament have also appointed their ‘shadow’ rapporteurs.
