Cameroon and Chad inaugurate strategic cross-border bridge financed by EU

29/04/2025 (Agence Europe) – The Logone bridge, linking Yagoua in Cameroon’s Far North region to Bongor in Chad, was inaugurated on Monday 28 April. Started in 2020, its construction was financially supported by the EU and five of its Member States to the tune of €40 million (out of a total of €113 million) as part of the ‘Global Gateway’ investment package.
