04/11/24 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 31 October, the European Commission published the latest version of the Combined Nomenclature applicable from 1 January 2025. This Combined Nomenclature forms the basis for declaring goods on import or export or when they are the subject of intra-Union trade statistics. It determines the rate of customs duty applicable and the statistical treatment of goods. The Nomenclature is therefore an essential working tool for businesses and customs administrations in the Member States.
