At the start of the G20 Development ministerial meeting being held in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil) from Monday 22 to Friday 26 July, the European Commissioner for International Partnerships, Jutta Urpilainen, stressed the importance of combating inequality.

“Today, both Brazil and the EU are committed to tackling inequalities and advancing a future that is fairer, greener, and more sustainable for all”, Ms Urpilainen wrote on X on Monday, pointing out that the EU’s Global Gateway...
