Action against cardiovascular disease and cooperation in field of transplantation on agenda for European ministers on 25 July

European health ministers are meeting in Budapest on Wednesday 24 and Thursday 25 July, under the chairmanship of Péter Takács, the Hungarian minister, for an informal debate on EU action against cardiovascular disease and European cooperation in the field of transplantation (organ donation).

The Hungarian Presidency of the EU Council hopes that the Member States will adopt conclusions on these two issues, which will be debated on 25 July (see EUROPE B13445A16).
