European Commission proposes 53 actions to create a resilient, sustainable and digital aerospace industry ecosystem

On Friday 7 June, the European Commission published a roadmap entitled ‘For a resilient, sustainable and digital aerospace and defence industrial ecosystem: Scenarios for a transition pathway’ at the ILA Berlin Air Show.

This roadmap highlights 53 priority actions covering issues such as sustainable competitiveness, sound regulation, modern infrastructure, skills development and investment financing, the social dimension and innovation. Actions can be either short-term and launched...
