European Parliament negotiators clarify their support for provisional agreement reached with EU Council on a revision of EU budget

On Wednesday 14 February, MEPs on the Committee on Budgets (BUDG) debated the agreement reached between the European Parliament and the EU Council on a mid-term review of the EU’s Multiannual Financial Framework.

This revision provides for a budgetary reinforcement of €64.5 billion until 2027 for certain European priorities, including mainly macro-financial aid to Ukraine of €50 billion for the period 2024-2027.
