13/11/2023 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 13 November, Italian MEP Sandro Gozi (Renew Europe) stated in a communication sent to the members of the European Parliament’s Committee on the Internal Market and Consumer Protection (IMCO) that “technical work is continuing” to finalise the provisional political agreement reached by the European Parliament and the EU Council on the targeting and transparency of political advertising (see EUROPE 13287/1). The text will be put to the vote in the European Parliament committee and plenary session in January 2024.
