European Parliament and Commission call for progress on EU laws to combat violence against women

25 November is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women. The European Parliament, meeting in plenary session, will take stock of the situation with the European Commission and the Council of the EU on Wednesday 23 November in Strasbourg.
