23/11/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 22 November, the European Commission announced the launch of a 30-month project to improve Greece’s preparedness and response to the natural disasters it regularly faces, such as forest fires and floods. Funded by the European Technical Support Instrument for Reform (TSI), the project will develop a risk management and emergency response strategy that will be translated into concrete actions through a single coordination mechanism involving all stakeholders. The TSI is already active in Greece, specifically in taking action against biodiversity loss on the island of Evia. For more information on the natural disaster project: https://aeur.eu/f/479 (MB)
