23/11/2022 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday, 23 November, Member States’ permanent representatives (Coreper) “unanimously” supported the compromise proposed by the Czech Presidency of the Council of the EU on the initiative concerning semiconductors (‘Chips Act’), according to two diplomatic sources. The last outstanding issues related to how the initiative would be funded and the matter of the consortium on semiconductors (see EUROPE 13057/8 and 13055/1).
