European Parliament and Eurocities launch ‘Generators of Hope’ campaign

The President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, and Dario Nardella, President of Eurocities and the Mayor of Florence, launched the ‘Generators of Hope’ campaign on Wednesday 23 November.

Negotiations on this initiative were only launched 2 days ago.

The aim of the campaign is to mobilise European cities to send generators to Ukraine as soon as possible, since 10 million Ukrainians are currently without electricity due to Russian attacks on infrastructure.
