Commission action against environmental standards in United Kingdom is dismissed on point of law

Luxembourg, 13/02/2007 (Agence Europe) - Action initiated by the Commission, accusing the United Kingdom of not having adequately transposed Council Directive 85/337/EEC on environmental impact studies (1985), was dismissed by the Court of Justice for incoherence on 1 February (ruling C-199/04).
